Chess Argument
“Chad, what is your favorite sport?” asked Luke.
“Definitely Chess,” answered Chad.
“Come on, Chad, Chess isn’t a real sport!”
“Sorry, Luke, but you’re wrong about that. Chess is the only sport where men and women are equal.”
“What do you mean about that?”
“I mean that men have a physical advantage in most sports because of strength and size. Chess is a sport of the mind and so everyone is equal.”
“I disagree with you, Chad. Men are far smarter than women.”
“Oh really? How did you come to think that?”
“All of the chess masters I have heard about are men. It stands to reason that women just are not as smart at Chess or we would see more of them.”
“Stacy, can you come over here?”
“Hey, Chad, what’s up?” asked Stacy.
“Luke says men are better than women at Chess. Think you could show him the truth?” said Chad.
“I don’t know how to play chess, my point was that men who do know how to play Chess are better than women,” said Luke.
“What’s the matter, Luke? Are you not man enough to learn to play Chess from a woman?” said Chad.
