I am currently thinking very hard about this concept. I think that a soul must have a gender or the existence of transgender people like me could not happen. We know that we are not identical with our body or we would all be cisgender and our souls would follow whatever the body wanted. But the fact that we fight against the body says more about what we truly are, though I have not been able to comprehend it all. Something is definitely happening.
