I left Christianity for many reasons but one of them was that I suspected they wouldn't very much like my identity. Back then I didn't even know what I was but I knew I wasn't normal. I thought I was gay because that was the only thing I knew back then but I think that being transgender is probably even harder for Christians to understand than being gay is.
